The collection of this data is to demonstrate the impact of your market and the farmers market sector as a whole in the Province. Collecting and analyzing this data will make the case for further funding, advancement and relevancy to your individual organization.

The collection of vendor types and total sales allows you to craft a story behind the economic impact of farmers' markets in your region. The identification of local vs out of town shoppers will result in identifying your farmers' markets as a draw for tourists in the area.
