Kitasoo/Xai’xais Nation has begun a process to assess the early learning and child care needs of our community. This is the first step toward planning for expanded early learning and child care services and facilities that reflect the needs, priorities, and values of Kitasoo/Xai’xais families. Through this survey, we hope to better understand what supports are available, what’s missing, and what will be needed to care for our youngest community members now and into the future.
This survey includes ~19 questions and should take about 10 minutes to complete. The survey will stay open until March 31, 2026. Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary. No identifying information is collected as part of this survey and all responses are confidential.
At the end of the survey, you will have the option to enter a prize draw. If you are interested in entering the draw, you will be redirected to another page at the end of the survey in order to provide your contact information. This information is collected separately and will not be associated with your responses in the survey. The prize draw will include a $500 gift card to the Kitasoo Band Store for those living in Klemtu, and a $250 gift card for BC Ferries for those living away from the community.
