Introduction

Are you a kinship carer living in England and Wales attending a local support group?  Kinship carers are grandparents, older siblings, aunts, uncles or other relatives or friends raising a child who is unable to live with his/her parents.  Kinship carers are sometimes also called family and friends carers.

Family Rights Group is carrying out a short survey of kinship carers living in England and Wales who attend a local kinship care support group. We want to find out what motivated you to join the support group and what difference it has made.  The survey will inform a funding bid which are making to the Big Lottery to develop support groups in London -they want to understand why support groups matter to kinship carers.  You will not be identifiable from any information we share, or make public.

This short questionnaire will take you about 5 minutes to complete.
