Introduction:

In 2022, the Victorian State Government will begin funding 2 years of kindergarten for children who are aged 3 years old prior to 30 April. In 2022, 3 year olds will be eligible for 5 hours of subsidised kindergarten (Parent fees applicable) and 4 year olds will be eligible for 15 hours of 4 year old kindergarten. From 2023, Gannawarra Shire Children's Service can offer 15 hours for both eligible 3 and 4 year old children in the two years prior to school.

This short survey is to assist Gannawarra Shire Children's Service to gather information on community needs and the model of service which best suits your family. Many considerations need to be made when planning for this exciting new service. Staffing and workforce is proving a challenge across the state especially in rural Victoria. Your feedback can help Gannawarra Shire Children's Service to plan for service delivery that best meets community needs.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey.
