Kids Club volunteers provide childcare for children aged 11 and younger while their parents are participating in our survivor support groups. Activities include art projects, games, and both indoor and outdoor play. Light dinner and snacks are provided (including for the volunteers!).
Kids Club happens at our main office on 303 Walnut Avenue, Santa Cruz, every Thursday from 5-7pm (2 hours). Kids Club volunteers also have a virtual meeting twice a month with the supervisor to discuss activities and any challenges arising with the children.
Please note that Kids Club volunteers do NOT:
- Assist with diaper or bathroom needs
- Provide therapeutic services to children
- Report back to parents
- Engage in mandated reporting
The Kids Club supervisor is responsible to managing these duties.

- Shifts are on Thursdays from 5-7pm.
- Program meetings happen virtually twice a month for 1 hour. They are scheduled based on everyone's availability.
