North Breakwater Lighthouse Committee needs your Help!

As a symbol of our City of Port Washington, and sentinel to the only harbor in Ozaukee County, North Breakwater Lighthouse Committee  believes this is a community icon worth saving, as well as a vital navigational aid. Thus, we are leading a local effort to submit an application for ownership (conveyance). Please consider these crucial details:

-North Breakwater Lighthouse, currently owned by the U.S. Coast Guard, has been designated for sale (divestment).
-U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) will administer divestment of the North Breakwater Lighthouse.
-GSA will convey ownership of the asset to the community, individual, or nonprofit organization who submits the highest-scored application.
-Currently an outside organization is vying for ownership.
