Keeping the Promise: Children (Care, Care Experience and Services Planning) (Scotland) Bill

This survey will help us tell MSPs and policymakers what you need in order to deliver The Promise, and what barriers stand in your way. We also want to hear what works well, and want to understand the emotional impact these barriers have on you as a practitioner who is deeply embedded in the system that supports the children and families to whom The Promise was made.

The Scottish Parliament is about to take the final Stage 3 vote on the Children (Care, Care Experience and Services Planning) (Scotland) Bill, also known as the Promise Bill. We have already set out our serious concerns about the Bill. Now we want to send a clear message to Parliament about what you, as a social worker, need to support you in your work to deliver The Promise.

We would be keen to hear real-world examples from practice or leadership. However, this survey is entirely anonymous. Please do not share any confidential or personal data.

The survey will close on Thursday, 12 March at Midday.
1.What supports you to deliver The Promise?
2.How does that feel? (tell us how it makes you feel as a practitioner when things support you to practice well)
3.What barriers get in the way of your work to keep The Promise
4.How does that feel? (tell us how it makes you feel as a practitioner when barriers undermine your practice)
