Business and Organization Details

We invite you to help shape the future of Kansas City’s workforce by participating in an upcoming employer survey led in partnership with the KC Chamber, the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City, KCMO EDC, and the KC Regional Workforce Alliance. This is an opportunity to ensure your hiring needs, workforce challenges, and future talent priorities directly inform regional strategy and investment.

The survey is designed to be quick and practical, taking approximately 15 minutes to complete, and will ask you to identify your most critical roles, estimate hiring needs over the next 12 months, and share key challenges related to hiring, retention, and skills gaps. It will also explore your current partnerships and interest in collaborating on solutions such as internships, work-based learning, and upskilling.

Your input will contribute to a comprehensive State of the Workforce report to be shared with employers and the broader region this fall and will directly inform employer-led strategies through the KC Regional Workforce Alliance. The survey will be open from April 22 through June 5, 2026. Multiple individuals from your organization are welcome to participate, particularly if they represent different business units or functions, such as HR, operations, or department leadership; however, we ask that responses be limited to one per business unit or function to ensure clarity and avoid duplication.

Please reach out to Trinity Griffin (tgriffin@kcciviccouncil.org) with any questions.
