Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS) is embarking on a significant effort to improve our school facilities. In April 2025, we will take a General Obligation (GO) Bond to the voters to begin funding critical facility needs. KCPS is the only MO school district in the KC region without GO Bond funding. With more than $650 million in unfunded repairs and an additional $600 million in improve the learning environment in our schools, we must identify the top priorities for the upcoming GO Bond. We want to hear from staff, students, families to help identify priority projects. Draft recommendations can be found HERE. Survey feedback will be shared at www.kcpublicschools.org/bond.
