JWN Residential Parking Permit Zone – Cast Your Vote!

To move forward on any given street, a majority of voting neighbors are required to approve the establishment of a Parking Permit Zone.

Please complete the following required information. For your vote to count, you must either reside in or own a commercial building in the JWN Proposed Parking Permit Zone. If more than one of these qualifications apply (and the addresses are in different physical locations), you may complete one voter survey per distinct location.

Frequently asked questions

The proposed zone extends N/S from 8th Avenue to 13th Avenue & W/E from Tyler Street to Lawrence Street. Permit zone would be active Monday through Saturday, 7am to 6pm.

An annual permit may be purchased from the City of Eugene (for approx. $40/year) by those who wish to park on the street. Proceeds will fund the maintenance of the zone.

No permit is needed for 2 hrs. or less; permit holders receive guest permits for longer-term visitor and service parking (landscapers, cleaning services, home nursing services, etc.).

A permit override period would be provided Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Off-street parking (driveways, lots) do NOT require permits.
