You have been invited to serve as a participant in a psychological experiment involving judging other people’s attributes and perspective taking. There are no known risks or benefits to participating in this study. We cannot reveal to you the hypotheses at this time because it may influence your future responses. However, after your participation is complete you will be fully informed of the purpose of the study.
If you decide to participate in this study you will be asked to complete a survey. The study is expected is take about 20 to 40 minutes to complete. You will complete this survey at your convenience on your computer. After agreeing to this informed consent, you will begin the survey.
Any information obtained from this study will be strictly anonymous. In any written reports or publications, no specific individual will be identified. Only aggregated data will be presented. We hope to have 200 participants participate in this research. Following your participation, you will be asked if you wish to receive a copy of the results of this research.
Participation in this study is completely voluntary. You have the right to decline to participate and withdraw from the research now or at any time after the study has begun. You may do this by closing your web browser, and at that time all records of your participation will be destroyed.
