About this survey
Thank you for being part of the Journey to an Abuja Declaration.
You have been invited because your experience, insight and perspective can help shape something bigger than any one organisation, region or career: what responsible communication should mean for our profession as it moves into a new and fast-changing world.
This is not a conventional survey. There is no scorecard and no single right answer. Please answer only the questions where you have real experience, insight or perspective to offer, and where you do, answer with as much detail as you can. A handful of thoughtful, detailed answers will help us far more than many quick ones.
Everything you share here will be read. Your contribution will be brought together with responses from practitioners, leaders, academics and voices from beyond our profession, from around the world. It will shape the emerging ideas that the Project Team test and challenge over the coming months, and it will inform what is ultimately presented for consideration at the World Public Relations Forum in Abuja this November.

Note: the Journey takes its name from the Abuja Declaration to be considered at WPRF 2026. What that Declaration ultimately says, and the form it takes, is exactly what this discovery process exists to determine. It is not decided in advance.
