Our Name and Location:

We are “The Equality Coalition”. We were founded on July 29th, 2015 in Center City, Philadelphia, PA and are an LGBTQIA Straight Alliance (GSA/QSA). We are building up sister organizations in every state, district, and territory to continue to develop a national organization that supports the Social Revolution.

Our Mission and Culture:

Our mission is to strategically execute initiatives that produce immediate improvements for the lives of residents living in our nation. We follow the motto which says, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

We celebrate a culture of advocacy, activism, education, and outreach, being a “helping hands” affinity group. We are the message of ground-breaking and radical change for the mutual benefit of the people, by the people, and for the people in our communities.

I would like to work with the Activism Team which is developed to create direct actions or involvement with other groups as a means of achieving social goals (protests, demonstrations, marches, etc.)

I would like to work with the Advocacy Team which is developed to execute campaigns that are used for supporting a social cause where we can help others help themselves.

I would like to work with the Outreach Team which is developed to build partnerships between our organization and other organizations and community groups that are fighting for social change.

I would to work with the Education Team which is developed to inform others of an experience or point of view to broaden their social awareness.

I would like to coordinate these four teams as an Organizer OR aid these four teams with a skill or talent I have as a Facilitator.
