Charter School of Inquiry Application for Admission 2025-2026

CSI has received permission to accept children into kindergarten who turn five-years-old on or before December 31.

Instructions

The Charter School of Inquiry serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Children must be five years old on or before December 31 of this year to apply for kindergarten.

The Charter School of Inquiry is an independent public school, and there is tuition or cost attend.

This application is for new students only. Re-registration packets for current students will be sent home in March.

Please complete one full application for each child. Make sure to fill out the grade that your child will be entering in the fall of 2025 and click submit at the end of the application. CSI will confirm receipt of your application.

Applications are valid only for the 2025-2026 school year.

Please notify the school if there is a change of address or phone number before the start of the school year.

Non-Discrimination

A charter school shall not discriminate against or limit the admission of any student on any unlawful basis, including based on ethnicity, immigration status, national origin, gender, disability, intellectual ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, athletic ability, race, creed, gender, national origin, religion, or ancestry. A school may not require any action by a student or family (such as an admissions test, interview, essay, attendance at an information session, etc.) in order for an applicant to either receive or submit an application for admission to that school.

Open House

Families interested in learning more about CSI are invited to attend an Open House on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m.

Lottery Date

If CSI receives more applications than open seats, the school will hold a public admissions lottery on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Families do not need to be in attendance to qualify for admission.

Sibling Preference

Siblings of students enrolled at CSI are given preference when filling open seats.

Notification of Acceptance

Within three days of the public lottery, CSI will notify all applicants of their selection. Parents/guardians will be notified whether their child was selected in the lottery or placed on a waitlist. Parents of children who were selected to attend CSI through the lottery must inform CSI whether or not they accept the seat within seven (7) days of the notice of selection.
