Have your students made exceptional efforts to advance sustainability and act on their learning beyond the classroom through an action-based project? If their action-based project involves responding to community challenges with creativity, responsible citizenship and innovative action, they may qualify for the LSF Jack Layton Award for Youth Action in Sustainability! This award was established to honour Jack Layton’s passion for optimism and hope in creating a more sustainable future.

The Winning class receives $500, and Runner-Ups receive $250 towards a sustainability-related action project.

Please complete applications by May 17, 2019.
