Effective Leadership Study

1.Dear Survey Respondents,

I am a doctoral student at California Baptist University, and I am conducting a survey about effective leadership. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between the leader-member exchange, emotional intelligence, and feedback environment, and how these may influence leaders to become effective leaders within an organization.

Your participation as a survey respondent is entirely voluntary, and you may decide to cease participation after you have begun. If you choose to participate, continue to complete the survey. If you decline, do nothing further. There are no benefits and no penalties for choosing or declining to participate. You may withdraw at any time during the study without consequences, and your data will not be included. Your willingness to participate in this study is implied if you proceed with completing the survey.

Please try to answer all the questions, since responding to each item will make the survey results more useful. The anticipated time commitment for completing the survey is approximately 30 minutes. No obvious undue risks are associated with completing the survey. No identifying information will be collected. Data will be stored on a password-protected device. The survey is only available as an electronic instrument, and no alternative procedures are available at this time.
