Planning Conditions in January

Pennsylvania’s emergency management planning professionals are interested in learning if hotels in Harrisburg, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are experiencing an usually high increase in out-of-state bookings during the dates of January 16-January 20.

By the end of business, Thursday, January 14, can you please let us know whether or not you are experiencing unusually high out-of-state bookings during this time period?

Your information will remain within emergency management and shared in aggregate only.

This important information will help emergency management at both the local and state level better anticipate if unusually high crowds are expected in these three areas. The PRLA has a trusted relationship with the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, PA Business Emergency Operations Center. The relationship helps us (and our members) be able to plan for operational disruptions and helps emergency management better anticipate – and plan for- disruptions that could potentially hinder our ability to get back to business.

Thank you for your valued and trusted input.
