Use this form to alert editor in chief Duncan Hilchey or Associate Editors to your interest in submitting a PAPER to JAFSCD for peer review. They will conduct a presubmission review of your manuscript to determine whether the submission is topically appropriate for JAFSCD and ready for peer review. You will hear from us by email within a few days with feedback. If the manuscript is ready, we will give you further manuscript preparation and submission instructions.

If you are submitting for a specific call for papers your query form will be sent to the guest editor(s) and you will hear back from them. If you would like to submitt a 2-page Brief, complete the query form HERE.

PLEASE NOTE: We are now requiring all prospective authors who are not affiliated with a shareholding library, institution, or organization to become individual shareholding members of JAFSCD. You do not have to pay for the privilege of membership (although a donation of $25 is requested). Regardless of payment, your membership puts you into our mailing list so you will receive our weekly JAFSCD News Flash and it also allows you to participate in the JAFSCD General Annual Meeting (held in the spring of each year). To become an individual shareholder go to https://jafscdcommunity.org and click on "Become a JAFSCD Individual Shareholder” and complete the form you find there.
