Introduction

Study of Discrimination, Family, and Culture

You are invited to participate in a voluntary and anonymous online study conducted by Sari Kosdon, M.A., as a part of the dissertation requirements for the Doctor of Psychology degree at the Wright Institute, Berkeley CA. This study is supervised by Lynn E. O’Connor, Ph.D., and Jack Berry, Ph.D.  In order to participate, you must be 18 years of age or older. You will not be paid for your participation in this study.

If you volunteer to participate in this research you will be asked to fill out several surveys.  The length of time for completion is about 20 to 25 minutes.  The surveys will ask you to describe your experience coming from a family with at least one Jewish parent, even if neither parent is or was a “practicing Jew.”

Participation is voluntary and anonymous. There is no record of your participation, your IP address, and none of this information is identifiable. You may withdraw from the study at any time. If you wish to withdraw, simply close your web browser or direct your web browser to another site.

The results of this study will be available on line at our research Group’s web site, Emotion, Personality & Altruism Research Group (EPARG) at http://www.eparg.org, when the study has been completed and the data analyzed. You may refer back to the EPARG web site at any time that you wish.
