Awarded in collaboration with the National Council for Osteopathic Research they are looking for examples of applied research. We are particularly keen to promote applied research in osteopathic practice and are looking for examples of research that are relevant to osteopathy.

What could you include?

The nominee should demonstrate the strength of research-led practice, and how this can lead to improvements in the care they and others can offer to patients. They may have undertaken their own studies to enhance treatment outcomes or have used existing research to deliver an evidence-based approach to delivering better care for patients.

They may have actively collected and then utilised data to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. They may have critically appraised current evidence on a clinical topic and used this to improve patient care. Overall, the nominee should reflect the connection between strong research findings, and how this can benefit the profession and patient care.
