In recent years, Indiana's investor-owned utility companies have made varying commitments to transition off coal and other fossil fuels and invest in renewable energy, including solar and wind. Through this survey, we are interested in understanding how Indiana communities feel about this unfolding state energy transition and related issues. Survey results will be utilized for the purpose of future program development in Northwest Indiana and statewide policy creation.

About Just Transition Northwest Indiana (JTNWI): we are a grassroots community organization based in Northwest Indiana that is committed to a just and equitable transition for communities and workers affected by the NIPSCO energy transition and supporting just transition-focused policy creation in Indiana.
