The imagiNorthern team is made up of a partnership between Flin Flon Arts Council, Thompson Mall of the Arts, Churchill Creative Collective, The Pas imagiNorthern and a network of Northern Champions who are collaborating to bring Northern Manitoba to the world. Driven by the north and supported by Creative Manitoba and the Manitoba Arts Network, imagiNorthern welcomes others to join our quest. Meet some of the people involved with imagiNorthern in this video.

WHO
This survey is for all Creatives: recreational artists and hobbyists, crafters, professional artists and makers, and teaching artists. It is for those who make no income from their arts or craft practice and those whose entire income depends on it.

WHY
  • This survey seeks to fill important gaps in information about the breadth and depth of artistic and craft practices among Northern Manitobans and First Nations peoples.
  • This information will be used to build the case for new sources of funding, developing new programs and services, creating shared services and helping build stronger networks among artists/craft makers and organizations. 
  • This will provide opportunities for northern creatives.
  • Ultimately, it will connect the North with a broader audience/consumer.

WHAT NEXT
Your participation is voluntary and confidential. Your information will be combined with all respondents and reported as a summary – no personal information will be shared.

The report of findings will be shared with all survey participants, so you can see how your experiences compare to others and we continue the conversation together.
