The Membership Engagement Committee (MEC) is seeking outgoing, passionate and committed individuals that are eager to make a positive impact in their community. Apply to be part of the Membership Engagement Committee and support our Epic Challenge by growing and engaging our membership.
Committee Mission: The Membership Engagement Committee is dedicated to attracting new members, creating strategies for retaining existing members and getting members involved in the mission of Illinois Green Alliance in order to maintain a viable and growing membership.
Committee Responsibilities:
· Hands on activities include organizing the member orientation, networking events, volunteer appreciation and member to member outreach efforts through phone calls and emails.
· Attend committee related meetings and performing committee activities, including conference calls, member orientation and networking events.
· Committee members can expect to spend an average of one to two hours per week reading the weekly newsletter, preparing for upcoming events, and communicating with Illinois Green members via telephone, voice mail or email.
· MEC's year starts in mid-March 2019 through January 2020
Committee Qualifications: Experience and/or interest in membership marketing and promotion, recruitment and retention activities.
