Share your Hyde Park Story

On April 22nd and June 10th, the Fairmount Grille and Sam Adams will honor Hyde Park's history through the timeless art of storytelling. Local residents will share memorable first-person stories from the neighborhood. Each showcase will feature six local storytellers sharing eight minute stories. The events are called Hyde Park 150: Stories from the Neighborhood. 

Complete the survey below to potentially share your story! Anyone living or working in Hyde Park is welcome to pitch! Storytellers can be professionals or first-time tellers. Coaching is provided. The series is produced in partnership with the Hyde Park 150th arts committee and Massmouth, a local non-profit organization.

* 3. Describe your Hyde Park story in 150 WORDS or less. Include the basic ARC of the story (beginning, middle, and end). Also note the TONE of of the story (funny, sad, sarcastic, etc.) All stories must relate to living or working in Hyde Park, but can be diverse in topic and style. What unique experiences have you had in the Hyde Park neighborhood? What memories stick with you most? What funny or harrowing tales capture the spirit of the place? We can't wait to read your pitch.
