OVERVIEW
Star Award Nominations are reviewed by the Excellence In Action team - a volunteer, employee-driven team that takes time out of their busy work days to read through all nominations.

The team maintains a set of guidelines for evaluating whether a nomination qualifies for recognition and voting or not. At the direction of our executive leadership, we want to ensure that the recognition of nominees each quarter is special. Therefore, it's possible your nominee may participate in that celebration - or they may not.

As noted, those submissions that offer specifics and/or tell a story are likely to be considered. Those that affirm the constant virtues, character and responsibilities of an individual are appreciable but do not capture the spirit of the Star Awards.

Nominees whose nominations aren't considered will not be notified that a Star nomination was submitted.
