Community Survey - Public Feedback Requested |
Information
The City of Highland Park (City) and the Highland Park Public Library (Library) are seeking public input as part of a preliminary needs assessment about a possible expansion of the Library, relocation of the City’s Senior Center into a dedicated space adjoined to the Library, and relocation of the Firehouse After School Club program to an expanded Library facility. The potential project aims to address limited on-site Library and Senior Center parking, operational space constraints, building accessibility issues, and escalating capital and maintenance costs, while improving service to the public and creating efficiencies at a multigenerational community campus. Public engagement and feedback is a critical component of this potential new community campus. Public engagement meetings began on June 21 and will continue through August 3, 2017. Public feedback is also requested via this survey.
