Becoming a Little Scientists House allows you to showcase to parents and the community that your service is committed to best practice inquiry-based STEM education. As of 2025, we've updated, expanded, and improved the perks of being a Little Scientists House, which means your team will now have exclusive access to ongoing early STEM implementation support, plus much more.

If you're renewing your certification with Little Scientists, you'll notice we've UPDATED this form. The project submission questions now mirror the project inquiry cycle. This is to create clarity around what information Little Scientists is looking for and how to structure your project.

BEFORE YOU START YOUR PROJECT:
  • 2 educators attend 2 STEM professional development workshops each with Little Scientists. This PD will help you to develop a high-quality project. Learn more about PD eligibility here.
  • Learn about the project inquiry cycle that your inquiry-based STEM project must follow. Make sure you allocate at least several weeks to run your project, ideally more.
  • Read this application form in full (view-only version here). You will see that the project questions follow the project inquiry cycle. Four stages also require documentation to be uploaded.
AFTER YOUR PROJECT... Don't lose your work!

Expect to spend a couple of hours drafting and finalising your responses. There are also 4 questions that ask you to upload specific documentation that you will need to organise in advance.
