Honeybee density research in Inishowen

As part of ongoing research in to the native Irish honey bee in Ireland the university of Galway is trying to establish the distribution of free living colonies and managed bee colonies in Inishowen. With this survey we are looking to determine the population density of free living and managed colonies, to find out if their are interactions in between free living and managed colonies and to see if these interactions are beneficial. With your help we can get a better understanding of our native Irish honeybees and device strategies for future conservation of them. All of your answers are confidential and are solely used for the research project
