St Albans City and District Council has allocated Land South of Hill Dyke Road for housing in its emerging Local Plan. A scheme of around 97 homes, including 40% affordable housing, is expected to come forward. Taylor Wimpey have started a consultation process and information about the proposed development is on their website: Taylor Wimpey proposals (or see WDPS briefing document ). WDPS will be working with Wheathampstead Parish Council (WPC) to secure the strongest possible benefits for Wheathampstead if development proceeds. Your views will help shape our approach.
