Dear Herons Glen Resident,
One of the most important aspects of HGRD operations is the formation of committees that provide valuable recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. Committee members play a vital role in shaping the future of our community. Their knowledge, dedication, and enthusiasm help guide decision-making and support continued growth at Herons Glen.
We are always accepting volunteer forms for our committees. All HGRD committees are advisory in nature, but the impact of their work is significant. If you’re interested in being involved, we encourage you to volunteer and join your neighbors in helping to make Herons Glen the best it can be.
Standing Committees are selected each April, while Ad Hoc Committees are formed as needed throughout the year. Sometimes, new committees are created to address emerging needs. Volunteer forms are kept on file for one year and will be considered if mid-year openings occur.
Residents interested in volunteering are encouraged to review the Committee Charters before applying, as they outline each committee’s purpose, scope, and responsibilities. To help you determine which committee best fits your interests and experience, the charters can be viewed by clicking here.
