The Seniors Recreation Advisory Group will be comprised of residents ages 60+ from all over Halifax. The group will ensure that the development of the Seniors Recreation Services Plan is senior-led, and that the key priorities accurately reflect the needs of the senior population in Halifax. The group will assist with the development of a municipality wide survey, analyze data to determine key issues, and guide the recommendations that comprise the final plan. The group will meet once per month from March 2024 to May 2024.

In accordance with Section 485 of the Municipal Government Act (MGA), any personal information collected in this form will only be used by municipal staff and, if necessary, individuals and/or organizations under service contract with the Halifax Regional Municipality for purposes relating to processing the HRM Seniors Advisory Group Application Form.
