CCU Florida Community Heroes are identified as First Responders, Forestry Service, Teachers & Educational Employees (private or public certified teachers Pre-K to university level), Licensed or Certified Medical Personnel, Registered Nonprofit Employees, and Retired, Active Duty and Reserve Duty Military.

Qualifying heroes must live or work in Brevard, Indian River, Orange, Osceola, Polk, and Volusia county.
