Road to College Program Agreement
Road to College is a program that prepares students for enrollment in a college or university.

Student goals:

1.     Attend Monthly RTC meetings and workshops.

2.     Successful completion of college application process.

3.     Successful completion of financial aid process.

4.     Successful completion of scholarship & grant applications.

5.     Acceptance to a four-year college/university.

6.     Enrollment in a college or university in the fall semester following high school graduation.

 
Student Responsibilities:

1.     Attend scheduled monthly meetings/workshops with youth programs coordinator

2.     Follow through on all documents requested for college applications and financial aid

3.     Take SAT, ACT, & TSI tests (if applicable)

4.     Remain in the Road to College program through graduation from high school

5.     Apply to a minimum of (4) four-year colleges

6.     Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

7.     Enroll in a college or university in the Fall semester following high school graduation

8.     Attend the “Wild About College” Conference that will be held at Gladys Porter Zoo in May

9.     Attend the College Signing Send-Off Event that will take place in June
