## Fall 2014 GRE Basics |

## 1. GRE Basics Workshop Registration

This year, GRE Basics has a new structure! OSEEL will be hosting GRE Basics one-day sessions offered once in September, October, and November. This one-day format has been restructured from previous GRE Basics Workshops to increase students' familiarity with the GRE, accommodate busy schedules, and provide a quick but detailed overview of the GRE.

The one-day GRE Basics Workshops will take place once in late September, once in middle October, and once in middle November, 2014. Each one-day session will cover the same materials, including what the GRE is, the sections offered, types of questions, and basic study tips.

Students planning to take the GRE are encouraged to attend at least one of the one-day sessions; students are not required to attend multiple sessions. Students attending a one-day session will recieve the GRE Test Prep Book, valued at $40!

Please pay cash or $20 check in person in the OSEEL office (Altgeld Hall, room 100) or at the GRE Basics Workshop. Students will receive a Barron's GRE preparation book with registration, distributed at the first session attended.

September 24 (1:30-3:30)

October 21 (1:30-2:30)

November 14 (12:30-2:30)

Each session will take place in Altgeld Hall, room 125.
