General Information

 1.    Ministry of Transport (MOT) in collaboration with Malaysia Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) is conducting a National Green Logistics Survey 2023, covering land freight logistics.

2.    The purpose of this survey is to assess the current adoption level of green logistics practices among logistics industry players and propose an implementation model for a National Green Logistics Program.

3.    The information given by your organization will be kept strictly confidential. During this survey, MOT and MGTC will not disclose, disseminate, or publish any information that can be used to identify an individual, corporation, or unit. The data collected will only be for the purpose of green logistics research and academic use only.

Background of Green Logistics: Green logistics refers to environmental friendly and sustainable supply chain management practices. It involves of reducing wastes and carbon emission, conserving resources and minimizing the negative impacts of transportation and storage activities on the environment. Key elements of green logistics include energy-efficient transportation, reduction of carbon emissions, eco-friendly packaging, sustainable warehousing and storage and optimized transportation routes. This project aims to address the barriers and challenges of green logistics practices, it is essential to promote eco-friendly, efficient, safe and secure freight transportation for economy, environment and social development.
