Come learn more about the Green Tukwila Partnership and how to get involved in caring for Tukwila's forested parklands and natural areas! We will discuss Green Tukwila's efforts to care for and restore 138 acres of Tukwila's forests, and how you can get involved. We will present ways that you can volunteer, and how you can take your commitment to the next level by hosting your own volunteer events as a Forest Steward.

Lead volunteer work parties and restoration efforts as a Forest Steward at one of Tukwila's forested parks or natural areas (no experience required, training and staff support provided)

Assist Forest Stewards to host volunteer work parties and plan park restoration (help with volunteer event set up and clean up, lead small groups with Forest Steward/staff on site)

Attend restoration work parties as a volunteer when possible

Help spread the word and connect Tukwila community members with the Green Tukwila Partnership volunteer restoration events
