Recently, several faculty members from a variety of departments have been in discussion with the Graduate Dean about the possibility of 1-credit professional development courses for graduate students. Many of these courses could supplement similar classes that already exist in some departments or could provide departments with options for how they can make these courses available for their graduate students.

This is a purely exploratory survey designed to gauge student interest in graduate-level professional development courses, to gather ideas on what topics students might want covered, and to collect feedback on the appropriate format for these course. Your feedback is valuable to us.
