Have you seen good things happening in your community? Tell us about it!
Maybe it’s a community who restored a fishpond, a nonprofit helping families rebuild after a fire, or a call about an injured turtle that resulted in a rehabilitation (see below for more visual examples). We are building a movement on social media to share the good happening all around us, reminding us of the power of community and the hope that connects us.

Before submitting, lets say yes to these questions:
1. Does this uplift community care or a solution?
2. Does it center community impact over individual recognition?
3. Is it true, respectful, and safe to share?

Stories shared through Goodstory come directly from Hawai‘i’s people and communities. Submissions are lightly edited for clarity and conciseness and reviewed for accuracy and respect. Goodstory is a community-based storytelling project of nonprofit The Kūpa'a Network and shall not advertise for goods or services and is not used for profit.
