We typically engage the congregation on an annual basis, having all of you look within yourselves to find places where you can serve God and serve others during your time as members at First Presbyterian Church. This year, we are changing that request, going a little wider in scope.

Our stewardship, membership, and fellowship committees are seeking to improve how we give of our time and talent, aligning people to positions that feed their passions and match with their skills and experience. We also want to grow our congregation and enjoy our time with each other, through the pursuits we have in common, not just matching our fellowship groups to our ages .

With this short questionnaire, we have three goals:
  • Identifying interested people for roles in church leadership (session, diaconate, committees)
  • Identifying people for one‐off and recurring service opportunities (office volunteers, visitation, etc.).
  • Facilitating new and different fellowship opportunities by aligning those with shared interests and passions (running, fishing, cooking/baking, reading, travel, etc).
