Gold Coast Light Rail - Business Operations Questionnaire

If you are a business on the Gold Coast Highway between Broadbeach and Burleigh Heads, in the vicinity of the works area for the construction of Gold Coast Light Rail extension to Burleigh Heads, please complete this questionnaire.

GoldlinQ, operators of G:link light rail, is leading the tender process and expect to appoint a design and construction contractor for Stage 3 in late 2020 with major construction starting in 2021. It will take approximately three years to build and create up to 760 jobs.

The appointed contractors are required to manage and reduce construction impacts as much as possible and proactively engage with businesses.

Please complete the following questionnaire to help us better understand your business and how you operate. The questionnaire will take about 15 minutes to complete.

When appointed later this year, the construction contractor will:

engage with the local business community and maintain regular contact
provide information to assist businesses to continue operating during construction
notify the local community in advance of works commencing
minimise disruption as much as possible.
