Hazard Mitigation Public Survey - Goodhue County This is a survey with the goal of hearing the concerns and ideas of the public on the topic of hazard mitigation within Goodhue County, Minnesota. The information you provide will be shared directly with the leaders of participating jurisdictions to provide better knowledge of what the public believes should be addressed through mitigation projects added during the 2015 All Hazard Mitigation Plan Update. The purpose of the Goodhue County Hazard Mitigation plan is to determine how to reduce or eliminate the loss of life and property damage resulting from natural and human-caused hazards. The plan was first adopted in 2005 was updated in 2010, and is currently being updated once again. The plan encompasses all natural, technological, and human-caused hazards rather than only focusing on one type of hazard. The update process involves the participation of all jurisdictions within the county as well as participation of the public.The results from this public survey will help to inform Goodhue County as we work through the update of the county's All Hazard Mitigation Plan. The information you provide is voluntary and will be completely anonymous. This survey should be taken by adults residing within Goodhue County.
