The Newport County Chamber of Commerce is committed to gaining an accurate understanding of the economic impact of the outage.

At the time of the outage, many of you shared information about your estimated losses with us, or others. However, after the outage, many of you were still calculating losses, continuing to experience reduced foot traffic, waiting for bills that had not yet shown up that would reflect increased rates for electric (space heaters, etc) and water (to keep pipes from freezing), and still trying to determine what your insurance policies would cover. 

It may seem like we're asking a lot by asking you to share with us again... but it is only with this updated, and more specific information that we can get a true sense of the overall losses.

Any information you provide will only be used to assist the Chamber in getting an understanding of the bigger picture, and continuing to advocate on your behalf as we all seek a full recovery.
