Welcome to the GARDENS Pod Survey

The GARDENS Pod Project is an initiative run by the GARDENS Advisory Council, a group of individuals and groups from LAMP Community Health Centre, Humber College, and other community members and agencies in ward 6. The initiative aims to install garden pods throughout the community to promote the growth and consumption of locally grown food, thereby reducing emissions and contributing to food security in South Etobicoke. In 2016, 13 garden pods were installed in various organizations, schools, businesses, and residences in South Etobicoke, producing 122kg of food, which all went back into the community. We also ran 10 educational workshops on gardening and healthy eating, as well as a number of community engagement events. The project has been in operation for one year and we are now evaluating the first phase, GARDEN Pods 2016. We would like to know what components of the project you took part in, what your experience was like, and what you would like to see in the South Etobicoke community in the near future. Your valuable input will help us make improvements to the project!

Please answer each question following the instructions provided. The survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. By filling out the survey, your name will also be entered into a draw for 1 of 10 Tim Hortons gift cards. Thank you for your participation!
