HospoNEXT Future Leaders Scholarship Application Form

The Future Leaders scholarship is Food and Beverage Media’s (FAB Media) way of tangibly helping the hospitality industry find the next generation of leaders, who will take the sector to new heights.
How it works
Applicants will fill out the form below, including a reference from a senior manager from their employer, and will upload a one-minute video about themselves (details below). All applications must be received by 18/06/26. A select panel comprising the FAB Media team and sponsor representatives will then select the ten finalists and decide on the Scholarship winner.

Finalists
Finalists will be invited to attend the HospoNEXT show on Monday 13 July at Hyatt Regency Sydney. They will receive a complimentary ticket to the Pub Leaders Summit conference (co-located with HospoNEXT), as well as a discounted ticket code for their referee.

The winner will be announced at HospoNEXT in a short ceremony commencing at 12:30pm.

Applicants must indicate their ability to attend HospoNEXT on the form below. As part of the application process, the finalists and winner also agree to being made available to FAB Media (whether in person, over the phone, or on Zoom/Teams) for interview purposes after the Scholarship has been announced. FAB Media will run content on the Scholarship, winner and finalists both in print and online.

Prizes
The prize pool for the winner and finalists – courtesy of Allara and Carlton & United Breweries – is worth a total of approximately $20,000. You can view the details of the prize pool here.

Eligibility
Anyone working in a hospitality venue (pubs, clubs, bars, restaurants) within Australia under 30 years of age, who is looking to develop their career within hospitality is eligible to apply. More than one person from an organisation may apply. A senior manager from your organisation must complete the reference portion for an application to be eligible.

Applications must be received by 11:59pm, Thursday 18 June 2026. Any applications submitted after this date will not be considered.
