The Public Space Unit at NYC DOT and FAB Fulton are reaching out to businesses along the Fulton Street corridor, from Vanderbilt Avenue to Classon Avenue, to better understand where safety improvements could be made for pedestrians, merchants, and cyclists.
This survey is part of a larger initiative to transform Gates Avenue at Vanderbilt Avenue and Fulton Street into a pedestrian plaza, make safety improvements along the Gates Avenue school corridor, Fulton Street, and create a stronger and safer connection along Vanderbilt Avenue when crossing Fulton Street and Atlantic Avenue.
