Before doing so, please ensure that your organization is eligible for a subscription by reviewing our criteria here.

About the form:
  • Your responses cannot be saved and returned to later. We recommend reviewing all questions before you begin to ensure you have the requested information at hand.

  • When you post a volunteer opportunity, you’ll have the option to link it to your public profile. Fields that will show up in your public profile are indicated by a ★.

If and when your organization has been approved for a subscription, you'll be emailed an invoice and payment instructions. You’ll have the option to pay by credit card, cheque or EFT (not e-transfer).

Volunteer Toronto will use some of the data you submit via this form to paint a picture of volunteer engagement across the Greater Toronto Area. It's essential data that helps us advocate to funders, government, and policymakers on your behalf and on behalf of volunteers. Section 1: Subscriber Agreement

Volunteer Toronto’s Subscription Service provides non-profit organizations with access to our volunteer recruitment portal to connect with prospective volunteers, as well as training and resources to build strong volunteer management practices. Volunteer Toronto takes our role as a connector between volunteers and organizations very seriously, and works hard to ensure volunteer postings and volunteer engagement practices of Subscriber organizations align with our vision and values. Subscriber nonprofits are asked to abide by these values and to comply with the policies that inform Subscription:

Anti-Oppression Policy
This policy ensures all non-profit organizations that access Volunteer Toronto services and products understand and commit to pursue equitable and anti-oppressive volunteer engagement practices, in line with Volunteer Toronto’s values. Read the full policy.

Posting Policy
This policy ensures that all non-profit organizations that post volunteer positions to our website adhere to the requirements for posting, including alignment with the Ontario Human Rights Code, leading practice for position descriptions and clear communication of safety protocols for volunteers. Data Policy
This policy provides information on the type of information Volunteer Toronto will be collecting from Subscriber organizations and how that information will be used. Read the full policy.

Agreement
Any non-profit organization that becomes a Subscriber of Volunteer Toronto agrees to abide by the policies outlined in the subscriber agreement. Volunteer Toronto reserves the right to indefinitely suspend the subscription of any Subscriber that contravenes these policies. Suspended subscribers will be refunded on a pro-rated basis.
