Introduction

NWS is exploring potential changes and improvements to the way it displays and communicates frost and freeze events. Currently, NWS issues five products to alert the public and partners on these hazards: Frost Advisory, Freeze Watch, Freeze Warning, Hard Freeze Watch, Hard Freeze Warning. The following survey is meant to gather preliminary information on public and partners use of and needs for frost and freeze information.

Public reporting for this information collection is estimated to be approximately 1-5 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the information collection. All responses to this information collection are voluntary.
