In Pursuit of a Permanent Home

* 1. The Front Porch was founded as a small, secular discussion group in Austin, Texas with a simple mission: to speak intentionally, empathetically, and deeply with one another about things that matter. As a nonprofit mission of All Saints' Episcopal Church that produces and promotes over 50 events a year, we regularly pop up all over the city in dozens of variable settings.

Now, The Front Porch is seriously considering calling a physical location home. While Rev. Dr. Stephen Kinney and friends will still pop up all around Austin like always, this win-win opportunity for a permanent space and long-term lease could mean regular weekly programming for us and a place where you could come see us any time of the day--not to mention a real Front Porch (and back porch!). Located just off the intersection of Burnet Road and Justin Lane in north central Austin, The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection's 3,000+ square foot parish hall, adjacent green spaces, and parking could all be ours.

But, and most important, in making that decision, we need your input. Thank you in advance for your careful consideration.  Please rate The Front Porch on the following (by sliding the marker across the scale of 0-100, with 100 being your highest possible score):

The Front Porch is a leader in Austin when it comes to creating events that generate meaningful dialogue around relevant topics.
