Public comment on draft Fisheries Management Paper 5: Exploration of Fish Resources
The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) is currently reviewing the Exploratory Fisheries Policy.
The draft Fisheries Management Paper 5: Exploration of Fish Resources provides information on the rights and obligations for operators wishing to establish and gain access to an exploratory fishery and aims to provide transparency and certainty for stakeholders involved in such a process.
AFMA is now seeking comment from stakeholders on the draft Fisheries Management Paper 5: Exploration of Fish Resources.
The public consultation period will close at 5pm AEDT on Monday 16 March 2019.
