Finger Lakes State Park CDP Survey #2

Conceptual development plans (CDPs) guide the future use and development at each state park and historic site. CDPs support the mission, purpose and direction of each facility. These long-range plans outline area use, site goals, development objectives, research needs and project phasing while taking into consideration the significant natural, cultural and recreational resources of the park or site. This survey is part of the division’s ongoing effort to ensure that the public has input on state park and historic site development.

 

The mission of Finger Lakes State Park is to provide recreational opportunities and facilities for off-road vehicles (ORVs) as well as other compatible recreational pursuits for all visitors. It is also a goal to restore areas not in conflict with existing recreation, and to preserve and interpret the natural and cultural features within its boundaries.
